The spelling words have consonant clusters that come in groups of three like STReet and SPRead. The spelling test will be on Friday of this week. Study Hard!! Our story this week is about a wonderful lady that collects lovely things as she travels throughout the world. One of the special things she owns is some colorful cloth from Africa. This is the story about this cloth.

MATH:

Bravo on Unit 2 Math Test. You did a great job with measurement, lines, perimeter, and recognition of quadrilaterals. Last week we started on word problems with comparisons and unknown starts. This is a fairly long unit....so keep pushing through.

Social Studies:

We were able to make our clay pots on Friday. We will start our weaving sometime this week. If you have special yarn you would like to use...you are welcome to bring it to class. We have quite a bit left over from last year because one of the moms donated it to us. We will continue to learn about the Native People of our country and their traditions and ways of life.
