The spelling words this week, are the ones I put on the BLOG last week. It was a mess-up on my part. I apologize. The spelling list in your homework is the one you will be taking this week.

This week we will finish our quick unit on measurement and shapes and begin our Unit on Story Problems with comparisons. Remember to label all of your work. If we are measuring in centimeters, use the abbreviation (cm) for your label.

Social Studies:

We will begin our Unit on Native Americans. There are three groups of people we study. We will also start to weave our Native American mats. It is a lot of fun.

Question of the WEEK:

Carlos has some legos, Easton has 23 more than Carlos. Altogether they both have 36 Legos. How many legos does Carlos have? You are finding a DIFFERENCE......What do you do?

What kind of noun is Red Lobster? Common or Proper?

Have a great week....we sure think you are GREAT. Good luck to Jaxsen's mom as she is very close to having her new little baby. And a warm wish out to Aly's mom who just had her appendix removed. Hope you feel better soon. Thanks for all you both do in our classroom to make it successful.
